About the author

Emmi pargament is a recent graduate of San JOse State university’s master of library and information science program with an interest in archives & special collections. along with a ba in english from sacramento state university, emmi’s passion is to bridge the gap between information and the public.

the interest in “macabre” history may have started as early as first learning about american history, but for one school assignment, emmi visited the body museum with her dad. it was a blend of disturbing and fascinating, and something that was impossible to look away from. most of all, talking about the experience made others uncomfortable. in future travel experiences, emmi’s interest in museums, grave sites, and culture has always been part of the experience.
